when will god listen my ardaas?

i do 5 paaths of japji sahib,1 paath of jaap sahib,tw parsad swaye,chaupai sahib,5 pauris of anand sahib,rehrass sahib and kirtan sohila along with paaths of chandi di vaar and sukhmani sahib on daily basis.i do it for good health of my mother.she is my god.she had her faith in god and did all these banis in days of wisdom.but what god gave her in return-disease of cancer.she hasn't lost her faith in god till now and will never lose.but my father who also had immense faith in waheguru has lost his faith now .he says that if god existed he would never had given her disciple such hurt.we also had succesfully arranged akhand paath sahib at sri harmandir sahib.i totally follow the path of my mother and wholeheartly believe that" ek aas rakhyo man mahe,sagal rog nanak mit jahe".but when he will forgive us.i can 100% tell you that she had not done any ill deed in her life so why god punishes them who kiss his feet.and why keeps evil people happy.i have made my mind that when guruji will make us happy ,we all will turn singhs. hey wheguru,help us. if he existed, he will surely help us and he exists .please cut all her diseases and give her fruit of her unbroken faith.please stop your singhs from going on wrong ways.i'm only 16 yrs old but i want my parents to live with me till my end.i want to serve them all happiness of world.please provide this chance to me my beloved guru.i will give my life on his order but please god listen to your crying children.

Im sorry to hear this and it really touched me. I will keep your mum in mind when doing ardaas and hope that she gets better and her illness can go. Waheguru ji te barohsa rakho.

I am terribly sorry to hear about your mother’s illness. I can’t imagine how hard it must be for you and your family right now. I’m not going to pretend I have the answers for you but I hope that I can provide you with at least some things to think about. It’s hard to process the really bad things that happen in our lives. I am impressed with your devotion to prayer. Please try to keep it up, even though you may feel discouraged. Our reaction to the situation is the only thing we can really control- continuing to keep faith/doing prayers for example. (But I am not judging your dad because I have lost faith too when I was going through a serious hardship.)

I also understand your need for an explanation. Some people would explain suffering from illness as karma from past lives. Maybe some people would explain it differently. Ultimately, only Waheguru knows the reason behind His actions. Remember even when doing a life full of good deeds, people do experience hardships. Our Gurus suffered great atrocities despite their lifetime of good deeds, but there was a divine purpose. But remember always that this life is about this soul. And this body is a costume borrowed by this soul. Your mom’s soul is going to live on forever and it carries all the good that she has done with it. The cancer cannot take away all the good that she has done in this world. Waheguru is always with you for support, even though it doesn't feel like it sometimes. I wish good health and healing for your mother. If anything here has been insensitive or has offended you, i sincerely apologize, it was not my intention.

But i want waheguru to cure her disease because i want to live with her.it is written in gurbani that god is our father and provides us with everything we demand from him provided our intentions are good and mind is true.so why can't he cure her?he can surely cure her and he will.gurbani cantbefalse

We cannot trade our prayers for our demands, but God does hear our prayers and provide us with what He decides we need. Keep faith. Even incurable diseases have been known to be cured with the power of gurbani. Continue to serve Waheguru by praying for your mom.

After reading your painful narrative the first words that came out of my mind were WaheGuru, WaheGuru, WaheGuru. Only WaheGuru knows for sure the answer to your query above. Approximately 9 months back i lost my father, he succumbed to lung cancer but i still have faith in WaheGuru. All i can say is WaheGuru Ji please forgive all of us. WaheGuru, WaheGuru, WaheGuru, WaheGuru.
