I started looking into the healing power of Gurbani because I suffer from chronic pain which was not able to be managed by medications. I came across the Sarab Rog Ka Aukhad Naam website http://gurunanakhealing.com (note I am in no way affiliated with this website,etc. I just came across it). If you go to patient testimonials in fact there is evidence of people's diseases being cured. When I started reading the shabads (see Shttp://gurunanakhealing.com/static/HealingShabads.pdf) I found comfort in the shabads and their translations. My pain started to become less and manageable. It might be something to look into. At the end of the day though I think all gurbani is healing to us :)
