What is the difference between taking Sikh Vows and Recieving Amrit?

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh, Is there a difference between taking Sikh Vows and Receiving Amrit? Or is the term "Sikh Vows" referring to the process of receiving Amrit? Thanks!

There are two levels of commitment in Sikh Dharma. They naturally evolve from one another.

Sikh Vows:

God is One
The Siri Guru Granth Sahib (Shabad Guru) is the only Guru of a Sikh
Keep your form. Hairs uncut and worn up. Turban in public. Kara
Sadhana in Amrit Vela
Earn Righteously
Service and sharing
Vegetarian
No intoxicants
Sikhs shall be celibate if single - monogamous if married

Amrit Sanchar:

All the above and...

Wear cotton bana
Keep all five Ks
Recite the five Nitnem banis daily
