I don't understand speculations around this bani. It created bir ras but if we are not going to any war, can we still do it? People say different things - is it true or just to create confusion? Can we do this paath on regular basis - any specific maryada around it?

And do you have to be "amritdhari" to recite this bani? Is that a must?

Waheguru jio,

First of all, guru ji told us to do path (meaning living in god's hukam) every moment of our lives and so any time that we remember god, is amrit vela. So don't push yourself if you cant get up at 4-5 am due to life situations. Also, in sikhi there's no "you can only do some paths at one specific time". Do whatever path at whatever time you wish, there's no superstition. Chandi di vaar is not from guru granth sahib ji, but, if you still wish to read it then as you wish. :) bhul chuk muaf karni.

Chandi di Vaar is basically a play, I have never heard someone saying to do this paath everyday
