I love my mom I really do but recently we have been arguing a lot and it's really stressful for both of us. She always says that I don't prioritize housework at all an I don't get up early to help her. It's because it's true I don't because I get tired and when I get up I have to shower and go to school or work but she says that she can't live like that with me. I have to take responsibility so I don't know what's going on but I just don't like this at all. Please give me some insight on how I can solve the problem. I don't want to cause her stress at all .

I met this guy a while back but he recently came back into my life as friend again. He is a great person but i am just not sure if I want to continue talking to him. Because I don't believe that a guy and girl can be friends they eventually start falling for each other. Also in our Indian community a girls respect is very important so I don't want others to see us together in public and make a big deal out of our friendship. So I have decided to keep my distant from him . Do you guys think my reasoning is logical ?

Because I work and go to college I don't get to go to guruduwara much . My mom goes more often and I do wish I could go on a regular basis . I love the guruduwara because of the kirtan , seva and I love the langar from there . So every time my mom goes I always tell her to bring me langar is it bad ? She gets mad at me sometimes, but I don't know why it makes me feel so happy that even though I can't go their at-least I can have guru ka langar . Am I being selfish by not going to the guruduwara and wanting langar ?

Honestly it's not about considering yourself lower then them because we are equal in Sikhism . I think it really means just let god judge everyone wether he is an Amritdhati or an alcoholic. Because god knows the ultimate truth and all we honestly see is the physical personality of a person.

When will all the films release on sikh net for this years film festival ?

So I have a problem I have two good family friends and every time we hang out my mom and one of my friends have the same personalities so they get into arguments so at the end of the night I don't feel like I had a good time . I just feel like I wasted my time ! But I again forget and do the same thing over . I like their company but I think I need to keep a distant in a nice way how do I do that ? But I love them too and they are great friends .

Reading this you reminded me of my guy friend from a while back .When I met him initially he was a sikh but was clean shaved. But later he stared reading about Sikhism and keeping his beard and the took a trip to India came back in sikh roop. He was so encouraged by sikhi that he even wrote a book about it. He use to also tell me how his immediate family and parents were not happy about his decision.Although he was very strong minded and he loved the path he had chosen. So my point is you are not the only who feels this way their are many other Sikhs too so don't give this will all go away just focus on other goals in life . Hope this helps .
