As per your post you say, "He asked me my age. This is not polite in my culture". He even took your permission before touching your skin. It seems to me that you are a Moslem hailing from an Islamic background, you can't be a non-Sikh Indian because Indians are quite liberal.

I think you have taken the whole matter too seriously and misunderstood this Sikh guy. I don't think you need to blow it out of proportion. Had i been there in place of this Sikh guy, i would never go ahead doing business with a narrow minded person.

If you were uncomfortable with it, that’s all that matters, regardless of his intention. No one has the right to touch you if you don’t want to be touched. Trust your gut feeling. To answer your question about acceptable-ness, if he was flirting with you (that’s kind of what it sounds like), then it’s not acceptable because he’s married! He may have just been curious and did ask permission, but the point is that it made you uncomfortable and that’s not acceptable. You don't have to agree to anything that makes you uncomfortable.
