Response to 1984
I wanted to hear other people's opinions on how Sikhs should act to bring justice to the events the took place in India in 1984. I believe that it is our responsibility, but I'm not sure how.

I wanted to hear other people's opinions on how Sikhs should act to bring justice to the events the took place in India in 1984. I believe that it is our responsibility, but I'm not sure how.
This is a very difficult question for me to answer.
To start Lets look at what "justice" means
Definition:
(1) : the principle or ideal of just dealing or right action (2) : conformity to this principle or ideal : righteousness
But, what is a right action against such a crime
Revenge ??? (how would this help bring peace)
Create a document for peace/rights in India ??? (The indian government is not willing to negotiate these kinds of matters openly, they don't take the blame for the murders of thousands of sikh people)
Raising awareness ??? (awareness, alone won't make a difference)
In the end, no matter what we do, we will never be able to bring back those lives which have been lost during the genocide.
We must establish human rights in india to prevent anything like this to ever happen again, but convincing the government to create such a document will takes years of hard work from many persuasive individuals.
All that we can do is reflect on the lives which were lost and pray that it never happens again.
