You are lonely because you do not know how to give. Tears flow from you like water because you say, “What am I doing here?” All you have to do is uplift other people. Actually, It is good to be lonely because loneliness has three things in it: purity, infinity and ecstasy. When these ingredients get together and amalgamate with each other, one becomes lonely. One becomes One. We say it with great pride, “There is but One God!” If there is but One God, then there is but one you, there is but one me. “I am, I am!” So then who do you want to be friends with? Loneliness does not mean that you can’t share with others. It is only the lonely who share with all. Nanak naam cherdi kalaa — once in Nanak, by the grace of God, you get to reach the state of ecstasy... until ecstasy, loneliness and you become One, sarbat ka bala — then you do good for all. That is seva. When there is nothing else to do in life but serve and elevate every situation. Then you are alone but you are never lonely because you are always three - you, and God and Guru. Three in one. Remember - how depressed you feel is proportional to how much time you spend thinking about your own predicament in life. Serve others and let God serve you. Then there is no problem.
Waheguru is inside you, but you havnt found him. That is why you feel lonely. Find you God whithin. Do Naam simran and paath. Do walk towards Guru, He will walk many more steps towards you. We all have God whithin but because of soo much maya, we have forgotten it. By doing naam simran, you inner doors will get open
how long do I need to do naam simran to feel something other than pain?
