Is soul analogous to software ?

If we consider ourselves as robots, and body + mind as a hardware

then is our soul/conscious just a self-aware and self-learning Artificial Intelligence software and when we die its put into different hardware ??

The mind tries to think best for the hardware whereas the soul/Guru/Piri thinks what's best for the software ?

That's an interesting way of looking at it. As humans, we are consciously conscious that we have a consciousness. The soul does not think. It is pure, compassionate awareness.
