Crying when I'm doing path

I always cry when I read the Guru Granth Sahib, I don't know what's wrong with me. I have always been very emotional, I used to cry without a reason when I was a teen and felt an intense sadness from within like I missed something. I thought it was love but I realized later on that it was God. And I still miss God. Everytime I do path I feel something in my heart and the tears doesn't stop.

I feel sad, feeling lonely even when im with people. I don't feel like living even if life is beautiful.

Can someone tell me what's going on? why do I cry? Is it normal? Do you cry when you do path and understand its meaning?

I used to be the same. I cried because when I read paath I started to realise that I'm so stupid and guru ji is the only one that can help me. I cry because of my past blindness and because bani is just so beautiful. I basically cry out of happiness.

It may mean something relating to your past life or someone may have done black magic on you.

If black magic is done on you. How can you help from always feeling the separation from God? I cry as well from having been so blind and lost out in the world without God. I cry now longing for days I missed without being with God.

Waheguru ji, We all are religious souls, came to experience human form. Soul and Waheguru is the same. There is no difference. The difference is what maya has created after we can to this world. This maya (worldly show, power, money, family love, lust, anger, greed, ego, emotional attachment etc ) has effected us soo sooo much that we have forgotten that we are part of God! If you cry while doing Naam Abeyaas, let me tell you, you are a LUCKY soul my brother/sister!! This happens because our SOUL feels the separation from it's source ( Waheguru ). Our mind dosnt even know why we are crying because it has forgotten this long long ago. Not everybody gets to experience this pull of soul and I am very happy for you that Guru ji has had so much Kirpa on you!!! :D

All the 11 Guru Sahib combined = God , Waheguru , our True Father :)

Hey well first of all you are not the only one. How i see it the reason you are crying is because you have realized the truth. That you and guru is the only true realationship you will ever have All these expectations that you carry towards others impose a burden on u. you are only realizing the truth. Which is kind of bitter. And btw loneliness is something you should get comfortable with trust me. You will live a more fulfilling life.

Drop your expectations from everybody please and embrace loneliness, not saying be closed up but have a open heart but be content when you are on your own. You are never alone god is with u. just Chant waheguru name. also another reason u could be crying is because you might have underlying fears and anxieties. But try to imitate akal purakh who is nirbhau and nirvair. Bless u, dont give up. Keep meditating. I know ur pain

don't mean bitter as in for real, the relationship with god is the sweetest and the most comforting one you will have, but when you at first realize this it can be difficult to swallow. maybe :|

we worship god (waheguru) we do not worship the guru as the guru is our teacher and not god. the guru granth shaib is the guru and not god. sikhs will say that the guru is a manifestation of god upon earth. this is true but all humans are. do some more reaserch on the internet. i dont have time to give a full answer maybe another time hope what i have given helps a bit khalsa fateh

in guru granth sahib ji there are place where Gur comes up alot and it can mean both GOD and the Guru. I for one think that the the bani written in guru granth sahib ji is GOD. its like talking to god, if you know what I mean.
