Do path of Sukhmani Sahib with loving devotion and If you surrender yourself to the Guru there is nothing 'extremely hard'.Do ardas to Waheguru ji to give that person matt(understanding) and awareness about their actions. You can fight bad with good so, keep nirmata(humility)towards everyone.

Bhagta di sada tu rakhda har(i)jeeo dhur(i) tu rakhda aiya (SGGS, M 3, p. 637) (God! you preserve the dignity of devotees, You really have been upholding it right from the beginning.)

Gurbani says : Birthi kade naa hovai jan ki ardaas' - [SGGS:819]. One can say niji (personal) ardaas for chardi kalaa, health, naam daan, etc. from the bottom of the heart, and surrender to God. Guru Arjan Dev ji also did niji ardaas for the well being of his son Hargobind, and upon fulfillment he said words of shukrana (gratitude).

2014-03-30 19:19:53 -0500 answered a question How do I follow the Guru?

I dont want to follow my mind. (I dont want to be manmukh) I want to follow my guru. (I want to be gurmukh)

  • You need to give the complete, unconditional and perfect surrender of "Tan, Man, Dhan", i.e., mind, body, and possessions. Read Anand Sahib full (40 pauri) translation.

Who is my Guru? Where can I find my Guru? How do I follow my Guru? How do I differ Guru from my mind?

  • The word Guru * GU = darkness and RU = light * Guru for us is dispeller of darkness. The jot( light ) of 10 gurus Dhan Guru Granth Sahib ji is our guru( Shabad Guru )

Bani Guru,Guru hai Bani vich bani amrit saare ( Bani is the Guru,Guru is the bani and within bani the ambrosial nectar is contained )

Go to the nearest gurudwara,do ardas with faith and take hukamnama from guru sahib for guidance.

Can someone define how a person is when he/she follows the mind? Can someone define how a person is when he/she follows the guru?

  • A person who follows his mind ( mann) is called manmukh and Guru Granth Sahib Ji says alot about manmukhs.

Guru Nanak Ji says in JapJi Sahib Manne ki gat kehi na jaye,je ko kehay Pache pachtaye ( the state of the faithful cannot be describe and one who tries to describe will regret the attempt) So my benti to you is to read JapJi sahib 12th Pauri onwards as only Maharaj has the answers to your question.

Hi friend,

We all know the Bedawa ( disclaimer signed by the 40 liberated ones) when they left Guru Gobind Singh Ji and went home. They were then led by Mai Bhago to join the battle again and after the battle, when Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji along with his Singhs was collecting the dead bodies for cremation, Guru Ji found one of them named Mahan Singh still clinging to life. On seeing Guru Ji, he made an effort to rise, then Guru Ji at once took him in his embrace, and sat down with him. Mahan Singh tearful and exhausted, requested the great Master to destroy the Bedahwa (the letter disclaiming) his being a Sikh of the Guru. and what did Guru Ji say before tearing the letter ? Guru showing infinite mercy, took the letter and flipped it to the blank side and said ' I never said you are not my Sikh, you chose to leave me' and all the Singhs got liberation.Take 1 step towards and rely on Guru Ji every second.Guru Ji is all forgiving remember, 'Nirvair' that's the greatness of Guru Ji and how can we praise Guru Ji?

(Charan Sharan Gur Ek painda jaye Chal Satgur Kot painda aage hoye leit hain) If a Sikh takes one step towards guru to take his refuge then the Guru advances to receive the Sikh by taking a million steps

My dear friend, recite this shabad with full faith, love and devotion and see for yourself how Guru Ji will lift you up and take you in his embrace.
