I am also a Hindu my wife is a punjabi Hindu/Sikh. I never wore a kara before. When I first entered the Gurdwara with my wife I felt a peace in me I can’t describe. Since then I started to receive visions/messages in my dreams that I must wear a golden kara! After having 3 dreams about the kara I decided to buy one for myself. I bought a gold coloured kara (not real gold). After wearing the kara I feel very positive and connected to the almighty one! I see the kara as a gift from God!
