Physical Hairs

If hairs at the nostrils start growing to an abnormal size or the facial hairs are too long to an uncomfortable length can a Sikh trim the hairs?

And what if a surgery is performed and due to which hairs at that particular part of the body on which surgery is conducted is shaven off?

So, under both the above circumstances if the physical hairs are trimmed or shaved would that Sikh as per the Sikh Code of Conduct considered a Khandit Sikh.
