Was the bombing of Air India Flight 182 by Talwinder Singh good or bad?

I know this is a terrorist attack but should I support this or condemn this? My Sikh friends say this is okay but when two airplanes hit the two towers, it's not okay. I honestly don't want to say the wrong thing and get shunned by them. If no one answers this I will just ask my mom lol
