First Of All I Want To Say That Sikhnet Members Are Doing A Great Sewa By Solving People Problems And Help Them To Elevate Themselves. I Also Read Most Of The Questions And Answers Which Help Me To Elevate Myself.

My Question Is In Gurbani There Are Varius Terms Like Raag Aasa Mehla 1, Raag Danasari Melha 1, Raag Devgandhari Patshai 10, Raamkali paatshaahi 10 , Raag Sorath Patshai 10|| , Raag Kaliyaan Patshai 10 , Khiaal Patshai 10 , Tilang Kaafi Patshai 10 , Raag Bilaaval Patshai 10, Raag Devgandhaari Patshai 10 salok mehla 4 , raag gujari mehla 5 .raag gauri purbi mehla 4 like this .i know that mehla means guru ji as mehla 4 means 4th guru ji but what is the meaning of Raag Aasa, Raag Danasari, Raag Devgandhari , Raamkali , Raag Sorath, Raag Kaliyaan, Khiaal, Tilang Kaafi, Raag Bilaaval, Raag Devgandhaari , salok , raag gujari, raag gauri purbi etc .What Is Your View .Sorry if I caused offence that was not my intention. i apologise in advance for any mistakes or sins.

Raag named Gujari written by Mahalla (I think it means palace) the Fifth (Fifth Guru)
