If God doesn't want us to have kama (lust), krodh (wrath), lobh (greed), moh (attachment) and ahankar (entitlement)

Then why are we born with these things in the first place ?

These Five vices are actually tools given by God.They become vices when the are not properly chanelled or become out of control like Kaam(Lust) is necessary for having children so the World keeps on growing. If Everyone becomes Celibate or Brahmachari or Buddhist then in hundred years there will be no human race.

Kroth(Anger) should be transformed into Vir Ras or courage(Guru Gobind Singh ji or Khalsa) for standing against injustice or downtrodden people.

Lobh(Greed) should be transformed into Satisfaction for ex.a honest person like Bhai Lalo do hardwork and earns for his family or poor and was grateful to God for whatever he has and even Guru Nanak admires him.

Moh(Attachment) should be transformed into Love for God.There is a saying "if you cannot see God in all you cannot see God at all" which means you should work for the betterment of everyone according to your capability.First you should for the welfare of your family then for your community then for your country then for the whole World.Secondly Moh or Attachment is required by the mother for the welfare of the Children.

Ahankar(Ego) should be transformed into humbleness that's why there is concept of Selfless service in Sikhism.
