Should we be making plans?

Should we be making plans in Sikhism? I'm not going into details but should we be planning in general? Plans make expectations, when those expectations are not met or fulfilled, we then fire off negative emotions.

So should we plan or just go with the flow ?

Make plans, but do not be attached to those plans nor to their outcomes. Plan as your intuition tells you to do, but let go lightly when the time requires it.
