Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Try doing it again and see if you get nightmares.

I was listening to a Katha the other day, how many people can see/hear things after doing simran/path and how they leave it because they get scared. Check this video out

Don't leave Kirtan Sohila because of bad dreams.

Kirtan Sohila is a collection of hymns of Guru Nanak ji, Guru Amardas ji and Guru Arjan Dev ji. These hymns underline the pains of parting of human beings from God and the bliss to be achieved when one unites with God again. To remove the fear of death.

Satguru is with us at all times and protects us from the Angel of Death and demons. If one unexpectedly dies in their sleep, they will not enter lower lifeforms. Bad thoughts or dreams do not occur if Kirtan Sohila has been recited. Satguru places an iron fortress around him/her so nothing can hurt or scare the individual.

This is from the video description from this Kirtan Sohila video, if you don't do Sohila just listen to it. Heres the link

Also just keep saying Waheguru till you sleep or do Mool Mantar or Say Dhan Baba Nanak

Or just say the starting of Sukhmani Sahib

AD GURAY NAMEH, JUGAD GURAY NAMEH, SAT GURAY NAMEH, SIRI GURU DEVAY NAMEH

Heres a link to the translation and video

This also refers to the first 4 Gurus. Which came before Guru Arjan Dev Ji.

Hope this helps and hope you keep doing Sohila.

Please forgive me if i said anything wrong or offensive.
