Although it is true people become curious about sex once they go thru puberty. I might have to disagree with Sardar Sukhmeet Singh to ask only a non Sikh teenage boy what he thought of teenage girls, this question needs to asked with Sikhs male and female teenagers and adults about Sex and having a relationship. Generally the Sikhs by and large are not very open to discuss sex with their children, hence this prompts curiosity among people to ask others (such as online forums, like this site, ask their peers, friends, co-workers, internet, books, magazines, movies, and etc). We are in the 21st century which means that there is a good chance that we will come across many Sikhs who have engaged in pre-martial sexual relationship, if we keep closing our eyes and keep saying this doesn't happen within our community then we are the fools to not to acknowledge the reality in front of our eyes. In many Churches they discuss safe sex,AIDs, HIV, yet we as Sikhs feel this a taboo to be discussed in the Gurdwara, or any Sikhism related place. Although we as Sikhs have progressed in many fields but when it comes to discussing sex with the Sikh teenagers and adults we are quite shy about it.
