2016-03-28 14:42:55 -0500 | asked a question | Is it acceptable for a married Sikh man to touch an unmarried Non-Sikh woman's skin, even casually? I met a Sikh man at a place of business. We both talked about culture. He asked me my age. This is not polite in my culture. When I mentioned that you can tell the age of a woman by the sun damage on her skin, he asked to touch my forearm skin. I like talking to him, intellectually, but am unsure of his intentions and would like to know what is accepted in his culture. I have Sikh friends, but am away from them and so can't ask. |
