Words of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Rehiras Sahib ..and the three birth rights

Sat Nam... On the first page in Rehiras Sahib there is the Slok: Guru Nanak „Pain is the remedy and pleasure is the disease because if one has pleasure there is no longing for God“

Then there are the three birth rights which I know Yogi Bhajan said: To be Healthy, to be Happy and to be Holy.

How these two aspects fit together? I just realized for me there is a kind of a contraction, I understand both though. But still….if you are healthy and happy you are in no pain, and even holy then far away from it….

Best wishes to everyone,...:-)
