Does singing Bani in Kirtan style change it? Should we read/sing Bani as it is or can we sing it in Kirtan style? I like the Gurbani Kirtan that you can find on YouTube but can you listen to that style at Amrit Vela or should you aim to read/sing it yourself?

Forgive me for my mistakes

reading or singing is self choice but most of bani's are in a peotric style so i think singing would be preffered by many but no harm in reading as well.

And the difference about hearing and singing: hearing uses only 1 sense(ears) singing uses 3 senses(eyes to read, lips to sing, and ears to hear) so it's considered more beneficiary, just heard the fact, at the end its your choice. wjkk wjkf
