I really want to read the english translation or the guru granth sahib I could read it in punjabi but some of the words I probably wont understand and I think there is no point in reading it if you cant understand it. I am not super religous but I do beleive in god. I bow down to the guru granth sahib ji I am a sikh but I want to know whats in the guru granth sahib ji. Im reading it from my phone so can I still read it. Even if its from my phone is there anything I can do for it to be more respective.

Yes, you certainly can. There are many Bani apps for your phone, many of which include English translation so you can read in Gurumukhi or English.A good example is "iNitnem."

There is no problem reading Banis from your phone. See "Technology - Disrespect of Gurbani?"
