If you wanted an easy life, you would not be a Sikh of the Guru. This path is sharper than the edge of a sword, but we have chosen to walk it. That means that we have to go through every test our Guru gives us. Remember, the strongest steel goes through the hottest fire!

You are tired of struggling? So... what are you going to do? Quit? You have partaken of Maharaj Ji's amrit. You are merged in Him and He is merged in you. You belong to Him and He belongs to you. What problem can there be? There is a way through every block.

This isn't about being grateful or ungrateful (but living in a state of gratitude helps a lot.) It's about keeping up.

Remember the words of the Song of the Khalsa:

“Many speak of courage. Speaking cannot give it. It’s in the face of death that we must live it. When things are down and darkest, that’s when we stand tallest. Until the last star falls, we won’t give an inch at all! Stand as the Khalsa, strong as steel, steady as stone. Give our lives to God and Guru, mind and soul, breath and bone."

Meditate! Be great! Celebrate! Understand that you will never be given a test you cannot pass.
