Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji ki Fathe.

Well first of all Maas means meat or flesh as in animal flesh.

Murakh = fool

jhagre = argue

so to sum up the first line it means fools argue about meat and flesh

gyan = knowledge wisdome

dhyan = mind or meditation or focus

nahi = no or not

janee = know

so the second line which actully is part of the first line means (i think) the fools know nothing about knowledge or meditation.

kaun = who

maas = meat

saag = spinach but in this case I think that saag means vegetables.

kahave = say

so basically that last line means that what is meat and what exactly do you call vegetables and what is it exactly that leads to sin? so basically this line is a question.

this shabad is written by guru nanak dev ji and is a perfect example of what guru ji is trying to say about eating meant and people who consider themselves higher than everyone else because they are strictly vegetarian yet they have nothing inside. we are all made from flesh.

anyway I'm not very good at translating the shabads but I hope that this helped and I'm really sorry if I made any mistakes.

bhul chuk muaff karna ji.
