2015-07-17 06:02:10 -0500 | answered a question | need info about a community who call themselves gursikh but i doubt thank u for your under mentioned words. i appreciate your help. thank u @ guruka singh. Anyone who does not bow only to Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, has misunderstood the instruction of the 10th Master. For a Sikh, the Siri Guru Granth Sahib is the only living Guru. That said, these communities are not "bad." They serve a purpose. Even if the teacher is corrupt; even if the teacher gives the wrong teachings; even if the teacher manipulates the students; it is the sincerity and devotion of the student that brings him or her to the feet of the True Guru. The student does not incur the karma. |

2014-04-02 01:22:20 -0500 | asked a question | need info about a community who call themselves gursikh but i doubt i wish to ask u about a community i have come to know for last few years. they call themselves gursikhs, they do not eat meat or even drink tea, they dnt greet each other with a proper fateh or even satsriakal when they meet each other instead they say something like 'sohang maharaj sher singh vishnu bhagwan di jai'. they wear white clothes during marriages that also they do at sm place called jethuwal in amritsar only twice a year, where mass marriages take place. i have also cm to know that they do not perform pheras during anand karaj. they do not worship Guru Granth Sahib, instead they say they have their own 24 granths.According to the people of this community, the person they worship is a reincarnation of Guru Gobind Singh ji and he was also the akal-purakh means this time god actualy came on earth in that person's(whose photo they worship) disguise, which is totally hard for me to believe. all of this is beyond my understanding. when ever i ask my parents or even some other people around me i wonder nobody knows about this community much. but since when i have started knowing such people i have come to know that they are spread all over among sikhs. they r in delhi, rajasthan, jammu , abroad in canada also. please help me know more about them. how far is their faith a truth. are they blinding people. please provide an unbiased information. thanx and regards. manpreet kaur. |
