Sarabloh is beautiful.

Bhawna.. Ur sentiments are important too behind doing anything.

So a moorakh like me can just about do all maryada but will remain the same fool while 'Guru Ka' or 'guru kee' will be honoured anyways..

I wear sarabloh and advice with my head bowed to wear sarabloh. Its amazing

2014-08-27 12:43:00 -0500 answered a question Masturbation

Gurbani is Partakh (Living, Live)

when i read this topic, Guru Sahib reminded me of shabad

"Man mere har raas chaakh tikh jaai"

means- My dear heart taste the eternal Naam (Waheguru chant, gurbani (for me) )and your thirst will go away

Now this is extremely difficult for any sikh to understand and inculcate. But those who do, come out winners.

2014-08-27 12:34:38 -0500 answered a question How do I stop the five vices from devouring me?

Gurbani is the present guru . When the Guru comes, Kaljuga has to bow.

"Gurbani lagai tin hath chareya nirmolak ratan apaara"

Those who attach to gurbani are enshrined with priceless jewel which has infinite powers

2014-08-25 14:39:50 -0500 answered a question Miyan for kirpan sahib

Weapon has to have a holder

I have it with Miyan 9 inches. and i guess its safer with Miyan.

Can be very very dangerous without Miyan.

Rehat Maryada is to keep sarabloh Kirpaan which is sharp and that can be used. Guru Gobind Singh ji says..
"when all other means fail it is righteous to raise the sword"

For me two situations that may warrant the use of Kirpaan is a: somebody disrespects Guru Granth Shaib Ji. b: A female/lady/bhain ji's honor is at stake (Meaning somebody is trying to molest lady)

But we must not forget that we live in a civilized world and kirpaan is not a toy.

when u kill someone u destroy a son, a wife, a sister, a parent, a friend.

We should exercise compassion as God himself is compassionate and shall remain super kind.

Sorry for stretching my answer way too much.

2014-08-25 14:32:11 -0500 answered a question Rehat Maryada question

Read Gurbani. listen to kirtan.

Life Changers. Rehat Givers.

All questions will be perfectly resolved with Gurbani and Kirtan.

To understand kirtan u can look up a few Shabads where there is translation as well.

2014-08-25 14:23:20 -0500 answered a question Did Jesus Ji walk on water?

Anything can be achieved by meditation.

Ridhian Sidhian, The tricks and treasures as they say come easy to anyone who meditates.

A sikh however remains aloof to them and even on acquiring such powers he doesn't use them.

He remains attached to the lotus feet of Waheguru by chanting/remembering him.

My respects to Jesus and Guru Sahib.

But the real marked difference that u'll see in the Sikh History is that Guru Sahib kept emphasizing that "Hey, only thing i want my sikh to be bothered about is 'THE ONE' "

Experiencing Waheguru is like a fish experiencing the Ocean. Waheguru is to Sikh like ocean is to fish.

"Nanak eh bidh har bhajo, jaise jal ko meen" Guru sahib says that sikh should meditate upon Waheguru as a fish lives with water. ENGROSSED.

ENGROSSED with HIM. HIM in you, YOU in him.

imagine if u were a fish, n experiencing water. When a sikh achieves that state.

the Tricks that include "Water walk", turning iron to gold will come to him easy. But he will never use them.

Guru sahib says "Naatak chetak keeye kukaaja Prabh logan keh aavat laaja" Which means that the Godly people think all such tricks as an insult to the realm of spirituality.

They remain in Bhaana cause God is and shall remain super kind

2014-08-25 12:39:19 -0500 answered a question Ajna Chakra

Sikh tries to remain in Bhana.

Gursikhs who are blessed with the thirst for lord's hyms 'kirtan' are considered fortunate.

Amrit naam parmesar tera jo simrai so jeewai.

They realize that reading , singing gurbani is like live telecast of Guru ji.

Yes.. Third eye is real but gursikhs crave for NAAM alone. ..
"Saache naam ki laagai bhukh"

'I have hunger for the true name '

Moderators: Extremely sorry for using two IDs for answering

Bhain ji should cover her kesh while cooking. I say this after observing gursikhs and their life styles..

And the answer to your first question is .. God is and shall always remain super kind. :D

2014-08-24 14:20:21 -0500 answered a question Title of "Bhai"

The question can be answered in two ways

1: What does Guru Sahib say about it

Guru Sahib's pyari gurbani says.. "mere har preetam kee koi baat sunaai.. so BHAAI so mera beer"

One who tells/narrates me sweet stories of God is my Brother (Bhaai) .. Meaning that the person is my family, my close friend. (everything infact)

2: What does Present practice of conferring title Bhai according to Akal Takht Sahib.

Basically people who contribute towards the Sikhi Prachar are conferred title of Bhai. The recent example is that of Bhai Pinderpal Singh ji now called Bhai Sahib Bhai Pinderpal Singh ji.

Another Example is Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh Ji.

and many others.

God is and shall remain super kind!!

2014-08-24 14:12:43 -0500 answered a question dreaming of sri guru granth sahib ji

Its the best thing that you can imagine. Dreaming about Guru Granth Sahib ji is the rarest of rare things to happen. The message is loud and clear.

"Avoh sikh satgur ke pyareyo gaavoh sachi baani"

Its like the river has come to the thirsty man than otherwise.

God is and shall remain super kind.
