I recently found an abandoned kitten, she was very small, only 4 ounces. For three weeks I tried everything to help her make it. I woke up every three hours around the clock to feed her, a took her to the vet and tried everything that I knew to help her gain weight. She did well for awhile, but then slowly started to fade away. She died. I can't help but feel very responsible for her passing, I feel as though I was given a chance to help nurture a creation of God and I failed. I suppose my question is, what should I meditate on to help learn spiritually from this experience and gain comfort for this type of loss?
