i'm 15 and i have been preparing myseld to take amrit since i was 7, but i still have some questions i want answered befor i do so:

1. i wear a Dumalla all the time and i find it uncomfortable to wear a small dastar or keski. is it and mandatory to where a dastar at the amrit sanchar? can i tie my dumalla?

2. is taking hot showers wrong? i love hot showers and i need it specifically in Canadian winters.

3. the concept of being reborn when taking amrit; does that mean all the paat and simran i have done won't count?

4. is okay to take amrit before you finish your santhya? (correct pronouncation of gurbani)i still do my nitnem though
