In the Satguru Granth Sahib it says that the universe is destroyed and recreated many times, so what happens to those who have not become gurmukh and reunited with god, and when the universe is destroyed and recreated are new souls formed or are the same souls recycled?

also if no new souls are recreated then what happens when eventually every soul becomes reunited and no souls are left because once your reunited with god you cannot go back into maya can you?
