I was depressed for about one year ago, constantly crying, lost of appetite, etc, after listening to path a few days i was miraculously cured without any medication or therapy, ever since then i have been doing path and listening to path everyday. The sorrow and pain is completely gone but i have no desire to do anything, i am completely apathetic, doing nothing, and I have no motivation for anything, and I have been like this for over a year now. I have no interest in anything and If I have to make a decision I cant make it. I cant even make easy decisions like if I am going out or not. I need someone to make decisions for me that involves my personal growth. I haven't been to work for more than a year now, i and i have no motivation to look for a new job because I feel paralyzed every time i try. I need help please.

Waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh I suggest rather than thinking about it try to opt any hobby that will divert your mind.. If you can't decide what you like to do, then you can try 2-3 different things and whatever makes you happy continue that. It will be hard to come out of your shell but think like this "The only person who can take best decision for you, is you" . So go for it.. Continue doing path and simran and babaji will help you to achieve anything Please dont be disheartened. Life is too short make it worth living and I know you can do this. God bless you :)

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

I had depression/anxiety before, but it eventually through Guru Ji's grace it goes away might take a bit of time but it will certainly come.

See a therapist, also take support of the sangat whether on this forum or

I have no doubt that the Sangat on any of these forums will help you out and make you feel better.

Sat Nam,...all what you are describing through your words seems to me that it is linked with unconscious emotional blocks which has still effects on you. If you are willing to go through this process to solve the nucleus then I suggest you to have a look on: www.rubimed.com and check your aura with a therapist who you can find on this Webpage..

You can try through Kundalini Yoga as well, the only Problem is that first of all, you have to know what the nucleus is. The only way is through a Aura Energy Check.

Good Luck, :-)

I’m so sorry you aren’t feeling well. I’m glad that you were able to cure some of your worse symptoms with gurbani. Lack of interest in activities and having trouble making decisions are still symptoms of your depression, however. When I went through depression I really needed to learn to take care of myself. I needed small goals like taking care of my body, eating well, bedtime routines, etc. to make myself feel good so I could move to bigger things. It took me a long time to get there and feel better. Exercise really helps a lot for depression. I needed counseling that helped me address my negative thinking patterns and taught me coping skills, so that might be something to consider. Sometimes our thinking patterns hold us back from being able to move past the depression. They keep us there and tell us we aren’t worthy, we aren’t good enough, we can’t do it. Then it helps to be able to learn how to break those patterns. You could always talk to your doctor about meds, etc.
