Marriage Problem

Hi I am 25 year old girl. I have sikh boyfriend. We know each other since childhood and been in relation for almost 5 years now. We both love each other from all our heart. My family is ok with our relation. Bit his family had issues, then they started showing our horoscope for match making. It came out we can't get married. But I don't believe this because pandits can tell future but guru can change it. My boyfriend's nani was in our favour ever since we were together. But recently she took hukumnama which stated something which is not good. We both love each other alot and already given place of husband and wife to each other. Now this will be wrong to even think about anyone else. Please help what should we do. Please sade vaste asdas kr leo

What happens if you just say you are going forward with the wedding regardless? I know it will be the harder path but maybe then people will get on board. The problem is you guys are in love and are already kind of husband-wife to each other and if you are forced to be apart i don't think that makes sense. Are his parents of the type that they would make him choose (family vs. you) or do you think they'd be willing to change their mind. I agree in Sikhi we don't believe in horoscopes, etc. and i wouldn't believe the pandits if i was you. He's already been part of your life for most of your life. You could sit down and tell them that since you are in such a committed relationship it doesn't make sense you wouldn't be married to each other (try to convince them) but i suspect that won't work; same with convincing them horoscopes etc. aren't to be believed. People who are opinionated tend to stick to that. So i guess your options are try to convince them; do it anyways; break up. You could try to convince them then move forward with the wedding and hope his family gets on board. Maybe some other people will have other ideas but i can't think of any other options you have at this point.

I don't believe pandits either but his nani is into so much simran and ardas. She was with us since the beginning. One day she took hukamnama for us, which showed we don't have sanjog. By any chance we can change our destiny. Please help :'(

i've never hear a hukamnama saying no to marriage so sorry i don't know. hope someone else can help.

not yet. We were thinking to give it time and do ardas as much as we can and then go to gurudwara. Just wanted to ask has anyone experience the change in destiny and sanjog.. really need it :'(

First of all this is against sikhi to match horoscope and go to pandit. Does pandit know his future what is going to happen with him?

Second, Can you please write the lines of hukamnama which you think not good with page number.

A true Gursikh boy should stand for you and convince their parents as per Gurbani teachings the right thing. If not, then both of you start reading 1 page of SGGS daily with meaning and analyze your life for improvement at least 90 days with nitnem (SGGS apps are available, Android app Gurbani Ujagar has Prof. Sahib Singh Teka).

Ardas is for blessing not for magic. Try your best to convince his parents, If waheguru approves your relation you will get result within 90 days otherwise accept his hukkum.

A person, who reads and implement gurbani with love and devotion in his life and convince his mind as per gurbani teaching and clear all his doubts, that person get power of love which can change whole world.

Did you take a Hukamnama from Guru Ji at the Gurdwara or the internet ?

Also you should read the Hukamnama yourself do you know what Ang it was ? Your nani could be misinterpreting something, so it best to ask a Granti to translate it
