I am not married, but I have a boyfriend who is the man I want to marry. and i have had sexual intercourse with him, but i go to the gurdwaras each day and pray. I also keep waheguru with me, always thinking about my faith. But I just want a happy life and not get punished.

In short no its not ok. Its kaam sex that is not in the will of god. its great that you keep your faith.

However the thing is bf gf relationships most of the time is allows men slack and women allow it. Guys can get laid without any commitment. Guys can get manipulative and be like babe i am not ready yet to get married yet. And girls can get strung along and their time can be wasted. And heartbreaks .. ouch.

Now i really pray that its different for you. But the thing is real men commit first not take something for a test drive and then commit. Know your value as a woman.

Sorry if my words were harsh sweety but i had to say what i felt.

Sikh women of today have some serious issues with their brains. Some say, they have had sexual intercourse with their boyfriends but they believe in WaheGuru, some Sikh women say they had Moslem boyfriends who ditched them some say they have Hindu boyfriends but still they have full faith in Sikhism.

The fact is you got to choose either one path, choose either Sikhism and move straight in life, no sex before marriage, no alcohol, no late nights but if you think Sikhism is not at all important and you want to enjoy the pleasures of life then in that case everything is okay, keep enjoying life.
