Hi please can someone help me.

ਦਸਮ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਟੇਕਿਅਾ, ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਨੂ ਮੱਥਾ। ਕਿਹਾ "ਗੁਰੂ" ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ, "ਪੰਜਾਂ" ਦਾ ਜੱਥਾ । ਲਓੁ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਦੀਖਸ਼ਾ, ਹੋਊ ਜਨਮ ਸੁਹੇਲਾ । ਵਾਹ ਵਾਹ "ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ" ਆਪੇ "ਗੁਰ ਚੇਲਾ"। Dasam Pita NeTekiya,Pyaareyan Nu Matha. Keha Guru Da Roop Hai,Panja Da Jatha. Layo Aina Ton Deekhsha,Hoyu Janam Suhela. Wah Wah "Guru Gobind Singh",Aape Gur-Chela.

I know this is when Guru Gobind ji asked his people to test them to come forward and sacrifice ur self. Out of all 5 came forward. I want to know the moral of this story. As to why Guru Gobind ji did this. I'm not sikh but I really would love to understand this story.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

There are many reasons why Guru Ji himself took Amrit:

The Panja Pyra are very important in Sikhi they are the physical form of Guru Ji, and they can give us Hukams (commands) and we must follow them. Hence showing us their importance.
To shows us the importance and value of Amrit, as Guru Ji took it himself.
It shows how much humility Guru Ji had he created Khalsa and he himself took Amrit from them.

After creating the Khalsa, he demonstrated that there is no difference between the Guru and the Khalsa. The Sangat of the Khalsa=the Guru. "Rahit piaare mujh kao Sikh piaaraa nahee." It is the rehit (the teachings) that are precious, not the man or woman himself or herself.
