when I try to follow sikhi, I have that goal to be able to achieve that mental state (sehaj)- steadiness. I have a certain image in my mind, what a perfect sikh on the inside feels. and that is obtained through building a relationship to god, and making it stronger through naam.

I want to ask, does everyone have a different or unique experience with god? and talking to god is the only way to get to know yourself. so that relationship is going to be different for everyone. so I should stop trying to seek that "perfect image in my mind"? is it just best to meditate, focus on the inside and act naturally? whatever your natural is? (example: I might try to act very serious, because that is what I think is that perfect state?) you know what I mean? but it might not be natural

"I don't know" is not a good vibration to say or repeat. What you think and say manifests in your world. Say. "I'll find out" instead.

There is no such thing as a "perfect Sikh." Yes, everyone has their own unique and different experience of the Infinite. The experiences you have are exactly the ones you need. It's very non-productive to look at someone else's experience and think "I wish I could have that experience." Be natural. Be yourself as you are. Relax. Enjoy. Go deeper.

Don't bother faking it. It's a waste of time. You can't please anyone else. Be completely honest with yourself and build your own relationship with your Guru. That relationship is the most intimate relationship you will ever have. Ever. It's the only relationship that will go through every test of time and space and will go with you beyond death.
