study breaks

I am kind of experiencing something similar to a person who asked the question (addicted to meditation) sigh

Without going to much into detail: bottom line I am emotionally broken from a lot of things(family, school, heart break etc). and meditation (early mornings has managed to stabilize me a little) But I also know I have to balance it be able to concentrate on studies, be kind to people etc etc.

Usually what I have realized that whenever I take study breaks, all the haunting thoughts come pouring back. (and my usual study breaks such as web browsing, talking to fam, checking texts, emails, all of that stuff make me very anxious now, idk why, but it just does)- I think it is because these activities can exacerbate the underlying issues I deal with. ie talking to fam = topics provoking anxiety. I just want to be able to dedicate 4-5 hours to studying with 5-10 minutes of breaks after every hour that will manage to calm me, and not have the haunting thoughts

  • when I take study breaks I want to be able to do something related to meditation, something spiritual. (something that takes about 5-10 minutes to do) since I am kind of a recluse in my room when I study, I can afford this kind of time and devote it to meditation. I need something like this really bad. any suggestion guys? please and thank you

You shouldn't be anxious when doing those things, try to relax.

You can do a lot in your breaks:

Just remember to relax in your breaks

Just stop thinking too much, enjoy life, try to spend more time with family and friends. If possible, go for the body massage especially the head massage which will relax your entire body and give you peace of mind.
