Hi everyone, please don't take offence to my words. As I do believe in God, literally makes more sense to believe in god. for example statistically speaking, it is highly likely that a creater created the universe with perfect laws than simply assuming that it happened spontaneously. I mean have you seen anything being created so perfectly spontaneously? can a cell just be spontaneously created from scratch? no scientists actually need to design it. science has been able to describe the laws but not really the origin, the more we think about it the more mind blowing it is. even evolutionary speaking, the information regarding the origin has holes! , we might be able to even advance and find it. however we are only discovering what has been done! we can't really create a universe where everything runs so perfectly.

as guruka singh mentioned, all things come from god and all things go to god. and how all is one aka everything came from singularity. (ex the sun is gonna cease to exist because the nuclear fire will burn out, ie an example that the universe will go back to singularity)

anyways now my real question, do we believe in the devil? the opposite of god? I saw the video where people get beheaded. I just can not comprehend how god has anything to do with it.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

There's no one equal to Waheguru, Waheguru created everything and everyone.

There is hell, but if one goes there then its not for eternity like other religions. I don't think there is a devil but there are messengers of death and Daram Raja (judge of righteousness), In Gurbani it says many times that the messengers of death will capture, gag and beat manmukhs.

For example in todays Hukamanama from Sri Harmandir Sahib which can be found here

The kings and the rulers of men enjoy pleasures and delights, but without the Name of the Lord, death seizes and dispatches the all

Satan is another name for Maya. And Maya does not exist as a being or even as a force. Maya is simply a universal law like as gravity. The net of Maya is all inb the head. This is my interpretation. Gautama Buddha and Jesus Christ were both tempted in semi-similiar ways but Buddha called it "Maya" and Jesus called it "Satan".

Satan may exist seperate from Maya though as many Christians believe. Satan would be a high-ranking demon, is all.

I've struggled with this question myself, coming from a Christian family, and this is what I found.
