What to do with my life

Hello, This is my first time on this site. I have been very stressed the past few days because I think I failed my MCATs. I was already accepted into a medical school since high school and all that was required of me was to take this test and do well. Because I am almost certain I did not, I would have to reapply and take a year off. I am so stressed about this because medicine already takes so long as it is, and I do not want to waste another year. I am also doubting whether or not I will be able to get accepted into medical school if I were to apply again. Because of these fears, I do not know if I should even apply to medical school again or just chose a whole new career path altogether. I want to hold everything to God, but I don't know what He would want me to do? Please Help! I feel so lost and confused.

Are you stressed or are your parents making you stressed. I am in somewhat of a similar situation as you. Although i might be older. The average age of a.med student entering in us and canada is 25. If medicine is something u love, just keep moving on the path. for that year off, study for the mcat and volunteer. And pray. praying to god is so important, realize that we all have to live under his hukam. Which requires complete surrender, and once u surrender and are completely honest with your self and god, you won't feel stress. Stress is a killer dont stress just pray to god.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

I applied for dentistry and I didn't get in, I then in a rush applied for a finance degree and only looked at the pay of it.

When I started my first year, I wanted to leave within the first two weeks but my parents/friends persuade me to stay. I didn't really like but through Guru Ji's kirpa everything went well. Now i'm in my final year, I still don't complete like it but it's not as bad now.

If you find medicine fascinating and fun, then do ardaas and do it. If not then look at other pathways.
