Im having trouble understanding my standing in the world.I understand that life is temporal and all within the world is to. At times i feel like a meer speck of nothing. Vaheguru ji has blessed my life with wondrous things and have been so fortunate to be blessed with the gift of taking amrit. I am by no means ungrateful to Vaheguruji but i feel as if my life is one big struggle- simply one struggle after the other, from my childhood through to adulthood. I feel tired of struggling and feel as if i have lived 2 lives in one. How would you explain this-is this all test? How would u deal with this. Please could u advise?

If you wanted an easy life, you would not be a Sikh of the Guru. This path is sharper than the edge of a sword, but we have chosen to walk it. That means that we have to go through every test our Guru gives us. Remember, the strongest steel goes through the hottest fire!

You are tired of struggling? So... what are you going to do? Quit? You have partaken of Maharaj Ji's amrit. You are merged in Him and He is merged in you. You belong to Him and He belongs to you. What problem can there be? There is a way through every block. He will always show it to you.

This isn't about being grateful or ungrateful (but living in a state of gratitude does help a lot.)

It's about keeping up.

Remember the words of the Song of the Khalsa:

“Many speak of courage. Speaking cannot give it. It’s in the face of death that we must live it. When things are down and darkest, that’s when we stand tallest. Until the last star falls, we won’t give an inch at all! Stand as the Khalsa, strong as steel, steady as stone. Give our lives to God and Guru, mind and soul, breath and bone."

Meditate! Be great! Celebrate!

Understand that you will never be given a test you cannot pass.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Where all going to pain and happiness in life. The Gurus and Gursikhs themselves went through hard times, so if the Gurus and Gursikhs had to go through it so do we. But the key is to remain in Chardi Kala when hardship comes. Like Dhan Dhan Guru Arjan Dev Ji Mahraj.

Where all a meer speck of dirt, not a bad thing helps us to lower are ego.

Hopefully your struggles will end, just do Ardaas to Waheguru.

Usually in life we get 90% of things we want but we complain about the 10% we don't.

Guru Sahib in his great and sweet Gurbani gives four worst case scenarios to show how powerful Naam is. The miserable conditions mentioned in this shabad apply to all of us. At some point in life we all encounter these problems to some extent. Guru Sahib writes the worse case scenarios:

1) If someone gets entangled in a grave problem and finds out that there is no one to help. If friends and relatives become enemies and eschew one to suffer alone. If all other means and support vanishes and one has no one to look at. If in such distressful condition one remembers the merciful Vaheguru (through the true Naam of course), then even hot air cannot touch one. Note that Guru Sahib states that from such situation one gets so well protected that even hot air cannot touch one. So powerful is Naam.
