Converted sikh marrying a born sikh
So all my life I have been confused on how it was and what's the reason for humans excisiting etc. and I've always wanted to believe in something which now I am 100% I am going to convert to Sikhism because it's the one that has stuck out to me. I have a problem though, I'm a mixed race lad who is half Pakistani and half white and I'm now in love with a born sikh girl, I know that there would not be a problem us being together and marrying because I will be a sikh but my family isn't sikh, would her family consider that a problem and will not let me marry her? We are both deeply in love and do want a future together but at the minute this is in our way and we cannot get anywhere. It is highly appreciated if you answer my question as I am really stuck on what to do :(
