what is the logic behind keeping hair
waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fate
why do we keep hair but cut nails?
why didn't guru nanak dev ji along with 8 other gurus tell us not to cut hair?

We keep our nails. We cut off the dead white part of our nails, like how we comb out dead hairs. Some gurus briefly briefly mentioned it, but it was Guru Gobind Singhs hukham when he made the Khalsa.
