When i was 15 i cut my hair. Came home mom was upset and angry my brother hit me even though they all have haircuts even my sister cuts her hair. I feel like i should be allowed to cut my hair and not be forced to do anything i don't want. I told my mom i'd regrow because i felt bad for her at them time but now I'm thinking to just keep it cut short and get on with life. But then my mom will hate me of course. I really wanna die i hate my stupid life. I'm nearly 17 and should be allowed to make these decisions now shouldn't?

Please help?

You have complete freedom to choose your faith and length of hair. Go ahead and exercise your freedom. However before moving on, give Sikhism a last chance and see if you can attend a sikhi camp and talk to others who have been through same situation as you. Good luck!
