Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh,

As usual I have a very unusual question to ask but I really need help. Is it okay for an amritdhari sikh to be a male model? If it is, what if you have to model an underwear brand and have to remove your kechara for a just a while? Oh please help me. I'm, in a dilemma. I know this question will make some feel uncomfortable but please help me. I'm to embarrased to ask anyone.

Whatever your calling is...go for it as long as it is not a repulsive things such as porn-star, assassin, etc.

Removing your kachera is your choice, but to follow the Sikh rehat, you should not and should compromise with the modeling company.

If you wanna talk, I am here at [email protected]

Good luck to you brother,

Waheguru

Negative perception

Okay lets cut the melodrama,

in the simple reality you will be breaking your 5 k rehat to partake in this job, therefore it is a no no sikhs should only where the kachera, that is the answer that was itself already in you, but you didnt like it and tried to see if there was yet another reality.

Now the option entirely boils down to your own morals eg: - "should i or should i not" put sikhi to shame and become a model.

Positive perception

i can sympathise with your dilema, If you can be a model with dignity and do it soley for the job and promoting sikhi then thats fine their are plenty of singhs that have come to light like the famous isngh in the next advert, the singh in the samsung advert etc......

if one preforms a task with up most dignity and for the sake of the job solely then no harm is done. if you where a kachera in your day to day life then their is no problem, and change from kachera to boxer according to the maryada of one leg in whilst another changes, with both head and shoulders covered.

in this way you have seen what and how the sikh world will perceive your actions now pic a path and appease your mind and heart.
