Is it okay to find strangers online who are Sikhs, since it is far too hard to find Sangat? I'm a Sikh convert and my parents won't let me be Sikh so Im sure I wont get to a gurudwara any time soon. Sikhs I chat with on my tablet are my sangat. Is this alright? I act safe. Never tell them any personal info. But I want to know if this is fine or not. Thanks.

Well Sikhnet basically promotes itself as the "cyber sangat".

Basically... It's perfectly alright.
