I want to record a recording of my friend and I playing Raag Jaijavanti.

Is it okay to sing in English (since I don't speak Punjabi well)? Is it okay to use untraditional instruments?

When your intention is pure and you sing with devotion then you can sing in any language and you can use any instruments.
