my parents won't let me convert to sikhism, what do I do ?

I'm 11 years old, but very mature. From Christianity I converted to Sikhism over 4 months ago. I've done nitnem, read gurbani, and learned punjabi for 3 of those months secretly because I didn't know if their reaction would be good or bad. Finally I told them a few weeks ago, their reaction was nice, but they said I'm to young to convert religions :(. I now even meditate and jaap naam, and so now there's noa going back to Christianity anymore. I'm too evolved in Sikhi to stop. It has become a big part of my life. I will still continue to be Sikh and abhilakee, but every time my parents see me reading Sikh text, they have the same talk with me that im too young to change religions', but in reality they just don't want me to leave Christianity. I will never leave the feet of my guru ever, but what should I do???

Guru Harkrishan Sahib became Guru of all the Sikhs at the age of five. His wisdom was absolute. It has nothing to do with age. If you are a Sikh of the Guru, you are a Sikh of the Guru. You didn't decide to convert. The Guru chose you. It's between you and him. It has nothing to do with your parents. No need to disrespect your parents or argue or be rude to them. Just be secure in your own identity and keep going.

When I fist told my mother I was a Sikh. She said "It's just a phase you're going through. You'll grow out of it." Fifteen years later she was still saying, "It's just a phase you're going through. You'll grow out of it."

She never understood. Until she died. Then she finally understood.

Your life is your life. Whatever you do you cannot make your parents happy. You be you. Love your parents. Serve them. Uplift them. Do not judge them. When they judge you, just smile and do something loving.

There are many paths to the Supreme Creator. Christianity is one and Sikhism is another. However....In Kalyug this Iron Age the path that practices the Divine Naam is supreme. Gods Name alone created the Known Universe. Guru Nanak Sahib was bestowed with Gods Name Personally by the Creator so I'm pretty sure The Great Jesus Christ would not mind one bit which path you take as long as you worship and love his supreme Lord God. Jesus Christ's church is true path to God but many Christians have failed as The Devil increases in power over time. Times are going to be more challenging until the end of this terrible age so my advise is The Naam should be your protector against all evils. There is no need to respond to much to your parents. You must only say. There are many paths to the Supreme God Father and I am taking this one mom/dad. If the Lord did not wanted me to become a sikh, by his command I would have not found THE Graet Guru.
