Not "by yourself," "with yourself." What I mean is that you can train yourself into new disciplines and new habits to replace those you wish to change. Prayer is not bargaining. See "What is Prayer?"
@Guruka Singh. Make a deal by myself means? For an example, if i were to tell god that 'if God dont make me get straight A's for my next majors is okay but for this majors please make me get it' and i did get the A's for the previous majors. Now i'm scared what if God doesnt make me get the A's the next cause ive said it. I cant seem to focus on my studies all because of this. I just need an answer to this. Pleaseee..
Absolutely not. But you can make a deal with yourself :)
