Fourth state of consciousness?
I read in Guru granth sahib : “By Guru's Grace, a few come to understand; they center their consciousness in the fourth state.”
Can someone explain what is fourth state of consciousness?

Chau Paad -> fourth state, refers to the fourth state of consciousness which is the recommended meditative state in which we can experience God consciousness. The other 3 states are waking state, sleep without dreams and sleep with dreams

The fourth state of consciousness is called Turya Samadhi. It is a state of deepest sleep whilst awake. It is the most profound state of meditation when you know the unknown, see the unseen and feel the unfeelable.
