What does it mean by " the person who doesn't gaze at another"s woman is a Sikh" every thing sounds like a external concept or punishment in the rehet" . Does it mean that one should see a sister in other females.. But what is the reason and why?

Dear Meet,

Try this experiment, gaze upon your sister (if you have one) or a sisterly cousin or your mother, study your thoughts and analyze your mind. Now gaze at any other women, analyze your thoughts now? What's changed? Why's it changed? Spend timing thinking about it.

How you gazed at you mother/sister, is how ideally you should gaze at another women, even in marriage, of course, this is a blessing from Guru Ji, keep reciting Gurbani and study Sikhism, many of your questions answers will unfold themselves. Have patience :)

Sorry if I've said anything wrong.

Sat Nam,

That is a good idea posted above, but I would like to add that the dynamics between a husband and a wife are different. To gaze at another man/woman as you would your husband/wife is what that is referring to. Be respectful with your eyes as you would with your mind, actions and words.

God bless you.
