Waheguruji Ka Khalsa Waheguruji ki Fateh! Dear SatSangatji, I have been reading a few things about sikhs in newzealand. I wondered if some light can be thrown on this question. What i essentially mean to ask by this question

  1. are we ( Sikhs) treated fairly?
  2. is it safe for us to keep our long beards and wear turban?
  3. Are we accepted at work place with our turbans I have read on the web that sikhs were asked to let go of their turban and beard to attain employment.

If there is any other information that can be shared about the concerned topic would be highly appriciated.

Waheguruji Ka Khalsa Waheguruji Ki Fateh.

I don't think there are many cases of discrimination in NZ. There is even a turbaned cop from there. In the end, it is up to us to tell the govt.s of the world that we value what we believe in.
